Brief History:

Working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the Philippine General Hospital, Shirley met her husband Ken Olley in 1994, who is a celebrated honey merchant in Queensland. Together, they became the first honey producers organically certified in the state, operating 5000 hives. Shirley's passion for environmental science and management grew during her time in the honey industry, leading her to pursue further studies in the field, including environmental law. This ignited her desire to become a lawyer, which she pursued as a mature student while working in various settings, even studying by candlelight in unconventional places like cars, trucks, hotels, caravans, and bushlands.

Today, Shirley operates her small practice in Toowoomba and Clifton, offering a wide range of legal services. Her dream of becoming a doctor transformed into a successful legal career, driven by her passion for environmental sustainability and her extensive experience in the agricultural sector. With over 30 years of experience in the business world, Shirley has the knowledge and expertise to ensure her clients' business needs are met while operating within the bounds of the law.
